Colleen Walker (she/her) grew up in the suburbs of Chicago and turned into a city girl and world traveler as soon as she could. Always a storyteller, she gravitated to the hard-won love stories: the almost-endless pining, the second-chance romance, the two worlds colliding. Her love of romance started with Anne and Gilbert, Jane and Rochester, Anne and Wentworth. She has always loved books that made her laugh, broke her heart, and then stitched it back together with an HEA.

 

Colleen lives in Chicago with her husband, their stacks of books, and shelves of typewriters. When she’s not working and writing, she’s daydreaming or actively planning her next travel adventure.
